The Collected Works of Sir Winston Churchill is a monumental 38-volume limited edition set that encompasses Churchill’s prolific writings, including his historical works, speeches, autobiographies, and essays. Each set coming out to include five million words in 19,000 pages. Published in limited editions, these collections showcase his mastery as a statesman, historian, and writer, offering insight into key events of the 20th century, such as the World Wars, British history, and his personal experiences. The set is prized by collectors for its comprehensive scope and finely bound editions, often in leather with gold tooling.
This collection is issued as a limited edition containing all 50 of Churchill’s published titles arranged in 34 volumes. This set also includes four additional volumes of The Collected Essays of Sir Winston. Only 2000 sets have been authorized for the British Empire and Commonwealth including Canada and a further 1000 sets for the United States of America and Canada. The publishers, Library of Imperial History, went bankrupt before the project was complete so “the print run never exceeded 2000 copies and only 1750 sets were ever published.”

All in full vellum with Churchill coat of arms on the upper covers. Gilt edges and gilt lettering on the spines. Marbled endpapers, printed on Archive Long-Life Text Paper. Illustrations throughout. Typical natural variation to the tone of the vellum bindings throughout the set but very clean. All in immaculate condition.
